Obituary for Patricia (Newton) Cox

Patricia (Newton) Cox was born April 18, 1959 in Rockcastle County and departed this life Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, being 59 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Lee & Annie (Weaver) Newton.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Benny Cox of Rockcastle County and her daughter, Jennifer K. Cox of Rockcastle County. She is also survived by two brothers, Edward (Judy) Newton of Jackson County, Clifford Daniel (Tammy) Newton of Chattanooga, TN and by four sisters, Margaret (Earl) Smith of Mt. Vernon, Faye (Lonnie) Reed of Rockcastle County, Barbara (Tim) Griffitts of Waco and Victoria (Tim) Huff of Mt. Vernon.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Ann Cox Boeck and by two sisters, Christine Newton, Rosalyn Newton and by a brother, Elva Newton.
Patricia was a member of the Church of God World Wide Services.

Funeral service 12:00 Noon Friday, December 21, 2018 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Evans officiating. Burial to follow in the Banks Cemetery. Pallbearers were Blake & Austin Rader, Ryan & Dylan Newton, Ron Owens and Daniel Cheek. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
