Obituary for James Wilson Johnson

James Wilson Johnson was born October 21, 1956 in Hamilton, OH and departed this life Thursday, October 31, 2019 at his residence, being 63 years of age. He was the son of the late Robert Edward Johnson and Mary Richardson Johnson.
In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by his wife Linda; two sisters, Wilma Jean and Lily Etta and a brother, Eddie Wayne.
James is survived by four daughters, Judy (Chris) Russell, Mary Sue (Adam) Caldwell, Kathy (Willie) Asbury and Stephanie (James) Hicks; nine grandchildren, Katy, Dora, Samantha, Anna, Macy, Mary, Christopher, Justin and Kaitlin. Also survived by two sisters, Thelma (Skip) Cunningham, Willene (Chuck) Cunningham and one brother, Sam (Sandy) Johnson and by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
James attended the Rosedale Baptist Church in Richmond, KY. He was a kind man who loved his family and friends. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Funeral service 12 Noon Monday, November 4, 2019 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Carpenter officiating. Burial to follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
