Freddie Morris was born March 10, 1947 in Jackson County and departed this life Saturday, July 2, 2011 at his residence, being 64 years of age. He was the son of Bennie & Lucille (Clemmons) Morris of McKee.

In addition to his parents, Freddie is also survived by his wife Elizabeth (Neace) Morris of McKee and by three children Jonathan Morris & his wife Misty of McKee, Shaun Morris & his wife Leanne of Berea and Marsha Ohmit & her husband Eric of Annville. He is also survived by two brothers Earin Morris of McKee and Earl Morris of Berea. Freddie was blessed with five grandchildren Adrienne Morris, Samuel Morris, Shea Morris, Alicia Ohmit and Alexis Ohmit.

Freddie was preceded in death by a brother Bartie Morris.

Freddie was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral service was held 12 Noon Monday, July 4, 2011 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Garland Gabbard, Bro. Shane Gabbard and Bro. Wiley Cole officiating. Burial followed in the Roberts Cemetery. Pallbearers were K.J. Fox, Frankie Morris, Jay Morris, Carson Ohmit, Dwane Russellburg, Quintin Rogers, Benny Biggs & Mitchell Lainhart. Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Marcum, Harold Young, Nolan Lear, Roger Parks, Jason King, Wallace Stidham, Bucky Baker, Steven Truett, James Isaacs, Earl Wayne Morris, Mike Bradley & Richard Johnson.
